• “Buyer” / “Customer” means any individual or entity purchasing products from vendors on AfreekaMall.
• “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to AfreekaMall, its owners, and administrators.

2. Marketplace Role

• AfreekaMall is a marketplace platform that connects vendors and buyers.
• We do not own, manufacture, or directly sell the products listed by vendors.
• Vendors are solely responsible for their products, descriptions, pricing, and fulfillment.

3. Account Registration

• Users must create an account to buy or sell on AfreekaMall.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Vendor Obligations

Vendors must:

• Provide accurate product descriptions, prices, and shipping details.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws (intellectual property, safety, labeling, etc.).
• Handle order fulfillment, delivery, returns, and customer inquiries promptly.
• Not list prohibited items (illegal products, counterfeit goods, hazardous items, etc.).
• Pay applicable fees and commissions as agreed with AfreekaMall.

5. Buyer Obligations

Buyers must:

• Provide accurate shipping and billing information.
• Make payments only through the approved payment methods (Stripe).
• Not engage in fraudulent activities or abuse the platform.

6. Payments & Fees

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• AfreekaMall may charge vendors a commission fee per sale or other applicable fees.
• Vendors are responsible for setting their shipping costs and policies.

7. Shipping & Returns

• Vendors are responsible for handling shipping, delivery timelines, and return policies.
• Buyers should review vendor-specific shipping and return policies before purchase.
• AfreekaMall may assist in disputes but is not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by vendors.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use AfreekaMall for unlawful purposes.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
• Infringe on intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

• AfreekaMall is not liable for products quality, safety, or legality.
• We are not responsible for disputes between buyers and vendors.
• Our liability, if any, is limited to the fees paid to us in connection with your use of the platform.

10. Intellectual Property

• All content on AfreekaMall (logos, text, design, graphics) is our property or licensed to us.
• Vendors retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant AfreekaMall a license to display them on the platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal behavior.
• Fail to pay applicable fees.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the platform means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
